The American Red Cross will support sheltering operations at the shelter. The Department of Animal Services is supporting evacuated animals at the Bonita Shelter, 5812 Sweetwater Road in Bonita. The San Diego Humane Society is supporting pet owners at the overnight shelter. CAL FIRE and San Diego County Fire estimates the fire is 400 acres and 5% contained.
