The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Northeastern San Diego County that could include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail until 5:00 PM. Locations impacted include Borrego Springs, Borrego Palm Canyon, Hwy S22 between Ranchita and Borrego Springs, Ranchita, Hwy S2 between Hwy 79 and Hwy 78 and Los Coyotes Indian Reservation.
