In addition to the evacuation order previously issued by County of San Diego Sheriff’s Department, a new evacuation warning has been issued in the area of the 3 mile marker of Sloane Canyon Road. An evacuation warning means that evacuations are currently voluntary, however everyone should be prepared to evacuate if an order is issued. Los Coches Creek Middle School at 9669 Dunbar Lane in El Cajon is the designated Temporary Evacuation Point. Safe route of travel is East on Sycuan Truck Trail to Tavern Rd then North to I-8.
