Red Flag Warning for October 24 to October 25

The San Diego National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning from 5:00am Thursday, October 24 until 5:00pm on Friday, October 25. The Red Flag Warning has been issued due to strong gusty winds and low humidity and is in effect for San Diego County mountains and inland valleys. Winds will be 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph and isolated gusts to 60 mph. Humidity will be 5-10%. More forecast information and updates are available from National Weather Service. San Diego Gas & Electric will open two Community Resource Centers tomorrow, Thursday, October 24th at 8:00 a.m. in Descanso and Julian, due to power outages the company may initiate during the Santa Ana wind event. Water and snacks will be available, and residents can charge devices and get up-to-date information about power outages at the Centers.
