The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Northwestern San Diego County that could include 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail until 8:30 PM PDT. Locations impacted include Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, Encinitas, Poway, Ramona, Del Mar, Mission Beach, University City, and La Jolla.
