Flash Flood Warning For Northwestern San Diego County until 700 PM

The National Weather Service in San Diego issued a Flash Flood Warning for Northwestern San Diego County until 700 PM PST. Rainfall rates of 0.50 inches per hour will occur through 7 pm.
Some locations that will likely experience flooding include Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, Encinitas, Valley Center, Fallbrook, Camp Pendleton, Del Mar, Escondido, San Marcos, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe, Palomar Mountain, San Onofre and Camp Pendleton South.
Precautionary/preparedness actions include… If you live near a creek or low lying area have a plan to move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Do not drive through flooded areas the water is deeper than it appears and moving rapidly. When flooded turn around don’t drown.
