All Red Cross Shelters in Response to Hilary Are Closed

In response to Tropical Cyclone Hilary, the County coordinated with the American Red Cross to open two inclement weather shelters for people in North County in San Marcos and in South County in Chula Vista. Transportation and pet sheltering was also made available. The Red Cross closed the shelters Monday at 2:30 p. m. Those in the shelters returned home or were offered connections to other services.
