Red Flag Warning Issued Tomorrow through Wednesday Morning due to Extreme Fire Danger

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from Monday at 10 a.m. to Wednesday at 4 a.m. The Red Flag Warning has been issued due to strong gusty winds, low humidity and is in effect for the inland valleys and mountains of San Diego County.
• Any fires that develop will spread rapidly with extreme fire behavior, threatening life and property.
• Be prepared to evacuate if needed.
• Be sure your cell phone is registered with AlertSanDiego, the notification system used by first responders to alert you. People may also register their VoIP phone numbers or emails.
• Download the free Genasys Protect and SD Emergency apps on your mobile device to receive updates on evacuations in your area.
• Review your emergency plan.
• Review your evacuation (emergency exit) routes.
Wind gusts up to 60 mph will be possible in the windier locations. The lowest daytime humidity will be 5% to 10%. More forecast information and updates are available from the National Weather Service.
