The American Red Cross is opening an overnight shelter for Border 6 Fire evacuees at the County of San Diego's Spring Valley Community Center at 8735 Jamacha Blvd, Spring Valley, CA 91977.

Pets are welcome and will be supported by the San Diego County Department of Animal Services at the overnight shelter.

The Temporary Evacuation Point located at Regal Edwards movie theater parking lot in Rancho San Diego (2951 Jamacha Rd, El Cajon, CA 92019) is now closed.
