In response to the Creelman Fire, the American Red Cross has opened an overnight shelter for evacuees at Olive Peirce Middle School, 1521 Hanson Lane, Ramona, CA 92065.

The Temporary Evacuation Point at Ramona High School located at 1401 Hanson Lane, Ramona is closed. Evacuees who need a place to stay can go to the Olive Peirce Middle School.

Small animals are welcome and will be co-located at the shelter. Animal care partners will be on-site to assist with the care of small animals.

Large animals can be taken to the Ramona Rodeo, 421 Aqua Lane, Ramona, CA 92065.

The San Diego Sheriff’s Office has updated Evacuation Orders and Evacuations Warning due to changing fire conditions.

The following roads are closed to all traffic:

San Vicente Road and Wildcat Canyon Road
Third Street and Old Julian Highway
